Professional photoshoots in Naxos start from €310. Packages vary by duration and the number of edited photos — from a sunset session at the Portara to a longer route through the Kastro lanes and out to the west-coast beaches.

The Portara — the marble gate of the unfinished temple of Apollo on its islet — the Venetian Kastro lanes above the harbour, the old town's arched passageways, the long sands of Agios Prokopios and Plaka, and the mountain villages of the interior, Halki with its neoclassical facades and marble-paved Apiranthos.

Golden hour at the Portara is the island's signature — the sun sets directly through the marble gate, and locals and travellers gather for it every evening, so your photographer will position you just off the axis where it stays calm. Mornings are best for the old town, when the lanes are cool and empty.

One of the best in the Cyclades. The west-coast beaches are long, sandy and shallow, so small children can play at the water's edge while the photographer works, and the evening session can end with everyone barefoot at Plaka as the light goes soft. The old town adds car-free lanes where kids can roam between frames.
