I have lived and worked on the island of Santorini, Greece, for the past 20 years, primarily as a photographer and videographer. My work is rooted in people—their faces, emotions, stories, and the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. I photograph weddings and events, but I am equally drawn to the everyday: a spontaneous laugh, a quiet expression, an atmospheric landscape, or a small detail that reveals something about a place. Over the years, living on Santorini has shaped the way I see and photograph the island. I am fascinated by its history and traditions, its landscape, and most of all, its people. I am interested in the stories behind what we see today—whether they belong to a couple beginning a new chapter together, a local tradition, or a piece of history that has shaped the island. Videography came naturally as another way to express this perspective, letting me explore moments and stories through movement, sound, and time. Documentary work is one aspect of my practice, especially when I can preserve memories, voices, and stories that might otherwise disappear. At the heart of my work is observation: capturing authentic moments, preserving memories, and finding beauty in both the extraordinary and the easily overlooked.
