I honestly can't recommend this flying dress photoshoot enough! Despite feeling a bit nervous, I was made to feel completely at ease from the start. Denys and Kate made the whole experience relaxed, fun and professional, with plenty of guidance throughout. The attention to detail and passion forโฆ
I simply cannot recommend this man enough. My wife and I had a four-hour shoot booked for our honeymoon and we ended up being out and about for nigh on six or seven โ we didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable in the slightest. If Vas wasn't happy with the shot, he'd simply move us (or himself) and tryโฆ
Our family had the privilege of working with Vassilis at Ikoutas Photography during our vacation in Rhodes, and the experience exceeded every expectation. We wanted to capture memories of our family vacation, with a special focus on our oldest daughter as she celebrates her senior year of highโฆ

For peak-season dates โ May through October, and especially Saturdays on Santorini or Mykonos โ book 6-12 months ahead. The best-reviewed photographers are often the first vendors to sell out after the venue itself. Shoulder-season and weekday weddings are far more flexible; three to four months is usually comfortable. If your date is closer than that, don't assume it's hopeless: availability shifts, and Photo Greece can check the whole vetted roster for your date at once instead of you emailing photographers one by one. When comparing, look at full wedding galleries rather than portfolio highlights โ how a photographer handles a dim taverna dinner tells you more than their best ten frames.
Work backwards from the moments you can't lose. An intimate ceremony with dinner fits in 4-5 hours: preparations, vows, couple portraits at golden hour, first toasts. A classic full wedding day โ getting ready through the first dances โ runs 8-10 hours. Greek weddings tend to run long and warm up late; if your party will peak at midnight with plate-worthy dancing, budget coverage for it or arrange a set finishing time you're at peace with. One Greece-specific tip: schedule couple portraits around sunset, not the ceremony's end โ in summer that golden window is what your photographer will plan the whole timeline around. Discuss your running order with your photographer and they'll recommend honest hours, not maximum hours.
Yes โ island weddings are the norm here, and photographers are used to travelling. Many are based in Athens or Thessaloniki and fly or ferry out to Santorini, Mykonos, Crete and the Ionian islands routinely; others live on the wedding islands themselves. For remote venues, travel and accommodation costs are quoted transparently up front โ for a Saturday wedding on a smaller island, expect the photographer to arrive the day before rather than gamble on a same-day ferry, and that overnight stay appears in the quote. When you enquire through Photo Greece, mention the island and venue in the first message; we'll prioritise photographers already on or near your island, which trims cost and adds local knowledge of the venue itself.
Yes, and for weddings above roughly 80 guests it's worth serious consideration. One photographer cannot simultaneously be with the bride's preparations and the groom's, or capture both the vows close-up and the grandmother's reaction from the back row. A second shooter doubles the angles at the moments that never repeat: the entrance, the first look, the kiss, the party. It's also insurance during the Greek wedding party phase โ when the dancing circle forms and things get wonderfully chaotic, two cameras catch what one would miss. Request it when enquiring through Photo Greece; your lead photographer typically brings a trusted colleague they've worked weddings with, so the two move as one team and the editing style stays consistent across the whole gallery.
