Most couples sessions last 60 to 90 minutes, enough time to visit 2-3 locations and capture a wide variety of natural, relaxed moments together. In Athens you might start at an Acropolis viewpoint, wander through Plaka's old streets and finish at Anafiotika's island-style houses; on Santorini your photographer will route you through Oia's quieter corners before the sunset crowds arrive. The golden rule is to coordinate without matching — complementary colors and classic styles that reflect your personality. Solid, muted tones (cream, navy, sage, terracotta) photograph beautifully against Greece's whitewashed walls, blue domes and honey-colored stone. Avoid busy patterns, large logos and neon colors. Comfortable shoes matter: Plaka's marble-smooth lanes and Santorini's caldera steps are slippery, and island paths can be uneven. Bring a second outfit for variety on longer sessions, and a light layer for breezy island evenings. Golden hour — shortly after sunrise or before sunset — gives the most flattering, warm, romantic light. In Greece, sunset ranges from around 5:30pm in winter to 8:45pm in summer, so plan accordingly. Sunset sessions on Santorini's caldera and at the Temple of Poseidon on the Athens Riviera are legendary, but they're also the busiest hours; sunrise shoots give you Oia's blue domes or the Acropolis viewpoints nearly to yourselves. Midday works too in shaded old-town lanes, but the strong Greek summer sun needs an experienced photographer. Professional photoshoots in Skopelos and Skiathos start from €310. Packages vary by duration and the number of edited photos — from a short session in Skopelos Chora to a longer route out to the chapel of Agios Ioannis sto Kastri, or an afternoon around Skiathos old port.

Agios Ioannis sto Kastri, the chapel alone on its pillar of rock above the sea, the stepped lanes and slate roofs of Skopelos Chora with the church of Panagia tou Pyrgou on the sea wall, the harbour front and the ruined kastro at the top of the town, and the pine-backed coves at Panormos and Milia. On Skiathos: the Bourtzi headland in the middle of the old port, Koukounaries with its pine forest behind the sand, and Lalaria's rock arch and white pebbles, which is boat-only.

Morning at Agios Ioannis sto Kastri — the chapel faces roughly east, the platform at the top holds only a handful of people, and the tour boats and rental cars arrive from late morning onwards. The Chora is workable all day because the lanes are narrow enough to hold shade, and it takes the last light beautifully from the kastro at the top. The season is shorter than in the south: June to September is the reliable window, with ferries and flights thinning out sharply from mid-October.
