About Lefkada
Lefkada is joined to the mainland by a causeway and a floating bridge, which makes it the one Ionian island with no ferry crossing to plan: Preveza's airport is about half an hour from the town. The west coast is the dramatic side — chalk cliffs dropping into water so bright it looks retouched, at Porto Katsiki, where a stepped path goes down from the clifftop car park, at Egremni, and along the long sweep of Kathisma.
